Target Audience Profile

Our target audience is aged between16-25. The film is for both genders male and female and the reason for us targeting this age group is because the characters in the film are young, the theme and the genre meet this age group is well.

Our film is about a group of teenagers who go out for a night where something terrible happens. The characters in the film like to hang out with their mates, party, and have a laugh. They also like to take risks and cause some kind of trouble. This is how young kids are seen in society nowadays and that is how they are also stereotyped.

Our target audience likes to watch films that keep them engaged and entertained. They like to watch films like ‘The Hangover’, ‘The Dark knight’, ‘Rush Hour 3’ etc. This is how we want our viewers to feel when watching our short film. We want to meet our viewer’s needs and expectations.

We refer to our target audience as the ‘young minds’. The reason for this is because we are trying to meet the needs of young minds. This is whom we see as the core viewer of the film and whom we represent in our marketing. This is who we keep foremost in mind when were putting the film together.

·        Mariah Carey
·        Jennifer Lopez
·        Cheryl Cole
·        Princess Diana

Our young males look up to people like:
